Education Trace is designed to connect institution and programme authority, selected academically material evidence, validation decisions and the final qualification into a privacy-conscious trust record.
The product is intended to complement existing university and government systems of record through governed integrations, without replacing institutional or regulatory authority.
Authority before cryptography.
The source dossier specifies SIMBA Chain Trace as the mandatory execution platform for the product design. Its proposed model combines lifecycle traceability, provenance relationships and permissioned verification while preserving data minimisation and sovereign adaptation.
Technical support, deployment model, security controls, interoperability and commercial terms remain subject to engineering and institutional validation.

The accelerated plan begins in Côte d’Ivoire with local engineering co-creation alongside UBTS and SIMBA teams. The country direction is to engage competent authorities and participating institutions before publishing named partners, university participation or national availability.
A future UBTS Côte d’Ivoire SARL operating model is described in the internal dossier; it is not presented here as an already-operational affiliate or completed deployment.
A launch pathway, with evidence gates visible.
The dossier states an accelerated pilot target of 31 August 2026 and a commercial MVP acceptance window of 15–30 October 2026, followed by intended integration with five private pilot universities across Côte d’Ivoire and selected West African markets.
These are project targets from an internal planning document, not proof that the pilot, MVP, university integrations, licences or partnerships are live. UBTS will publish status only after evidence and approval.
